The NTT TownPage mobile app was designed to help small-medium business owners in Japan manage their Wix websites on the go. Built on Wix’s Branded app platform, this app allowed users to view, edit, and manage their websites easily. My role as the sole UX/UI designer involved working closely with NTT and Wix teams to ensure the app met the specific needs of Japanese users.

The Challenge

NTT’s clients, small-medium business owners in Japan, had built over 30,000 websites on Wix. However, there was no mobile solution for them to manage their websites. The challenge was to create a seamless mobile experience tailored to Japanese users, while overcoming the barriers of cross-cultural collaboration between NTT (a Japanese company) and Wix (a Western company).
